He did not respond, only her. His eyes were glued to her; the friendly demeanor Enya carried did little to persuade him she wasn't up to no good. Though she towered over him with her strut, Eiko refused to back down, pressing onto hios paws and lifting himself into a tall stand. His three tails drooped behind him - but that was their natural position, given how long they were. A skeptical look was held in his gaze as his blue eyes watched her closely.
"So it seems." Eiko would break the silence that had accumulated when he had hesitated to take his turn to speak. "And I am not sure just yet," he'd respond to her question. He was still half-convinced Enya's appearance was the Night Lords' response. Was it a warning? An omen? Was Enya a threat to him - or Saira? What if this whole time, this wolf was being deceptive?
It was too soon to jump to conclusions. He had made that mistake before, when he assumed Enya was responsible for displacing him and Saira, and it hadn't played in his favor. The fox, usually so eager to yap on and on and on, found himself at a loss for words. "What brings you here?" was the only question that seemed to come to mind.

Of course the lightning was her favorite part too. But she had a special respect for the power of wind. Anyone could see a bolt of lightning and understand its might, but it’s so easy to underestimate the power of the air until it uproots trees and flattens houses. Avia, of course, found that awesome. Enya surprised Avia with her sudden reaction. Right; edges aren’t normal, the wolf reminded herself. She couldn’t recall how much she had told Enya about Luxtia before; she only remembered mentioning computers as “machines” that she controlled. Y’know, like, uh, the shore of an island, she explained simply, initially undermining the spectacle of her homeworld, only to add cheekily, but with open air instead of an ocean... She giggled before she clarified, Back in Luxtia and all, we don’t have a, like, continuous ground like Fangwilds. It’s, like, just sky, with island of land and stuff drifting with the currents. Some are big enough for there not to be as much wind, though! She wagged her tail optimistically at the prospect that a relatively windless continent may interest Enya. You could totally go hunting there! People would probably think you’re really cool for doing it without tools and stuff, too. She chuckled, but she was sincere; Avia didn’t know many people in Luxtia who were nearly as strong and skilled as Enya. ![]() Chill in the air [p] IC Date: 09/01/2026 Dathros — Crystal Caverns
Eiko readjusted himself, standing up tall and proud. Well, at least as tall and proud as a small fox could. His eyes sparkled, catching the glint from the milky light of his lantern that rested now by his paws.
He studied Jakar's expression; was it surprise? It was hard to tell, really. The wolf stood much taller than he did, and Eiko found himself craning his neck upward just to look at him. His tails twitched excitedly as Jakar spoke of fate uniting them.
Eiko felt shivers run down his spine, as reluctant as he was to admit it. He wouldn't let this wolf take his breath away - even if he was attractive above average. He was the one who was supposed to take breaths away, after all.
"A trade? Yes! I would like that. You want to go first?" Eiko was so confident, in fact, he'd let Jakar make the first move, knowing he would be quite the act to upstage.
"My name is Eiko; it is a pleasure to meet you." He'd say with a bow.

Avia smiled softly at his invitation, both happy for the offer and amused at the thought of resolving her outstanding issue about picking a trade. She at least had a new option available to her, one she would not have expected. She knew she was no good, but she believed anything was possible if she just practiced. In a way, Jakar had just offered her the same thing twice. I would love that, softly spoke the wolf, her own tail swaying along. She passively watched him pack up as she mulled over how to say goodbye. To her surprise, he set the scroll in front of her. She looked down at it, then up at Jakar, her nose near his, her mouth ajar. She realized before he had spoken that he was offering it to her. Wh– You don’t need it? the small wolf asked, gently placing her paw on the parchment without breaking eye contact. I... thank you, Jakar, I, I’ll be sure to, to practice... After a moment, Avia looked down at the scroll. She sucked in and swallowed her saliva to dry her mouth before she delicately lifted the large scroll into her jaws. She looked back at her bag, unsure if it would fit even if she crammed it. Uh... She turned to lead the scroll through the hoop atop her bag: a leather strap that seemed to be a handle. As she did, the tips of her horn unintentionally bumped against Jakar’s chest, sending a small but nonetheless surprising spark through him. She realized and quickly glanced forward to apologize, Oh! So sorry! Heh-heh... Avia reluctantly stepped back to give space between them again. The scroll lied diagonally above her, one end drooping over her front left shoulder and the other over her hind right hip. It unfurled itself until it was taught within the handle. Perhaps this would hold after all. She gazed at Jakar a few seconds longer, feeling the fluttering in her heart again, the memory of his muzzle against hers still clear in her mind. I, I guess this is it, Romawoo, said the wolf with a playful smile. ![]() [P] Fantastic Creation IC Date: 09/15/2026 Dathros — Gushing Geyser
Illuna instinctively stepped back; she stood, crouching low, and skulked a single pace away. Consciously, though, she tried her best to keep calm. She was trying to convince both Enya and herself that she was not afraid. M-Mother Atona, Illuna spoke with an unintentional squeal. She blinked with frustration at her own voice seemingly failing her. Mother Atona brought you to rest, not I, she repeated with a forcibly calmer voice. Regardless, the red wolf was not placated. Illuna couldn’t fathom why Enya didn’t understand. To her, everything was clear: Mother gave them a vision, and they needed to find out what to do about it. Illuna was not to blame for Enya’s fate. Yet, the wolf shook her head in denial. She growled and bristled and trembled and snapped. She bared her fangs at Illuna, she threatened her. The fox didn’t even know why. Illuna slightly shivered with fear, and she breathed with short, rapid breaths. She tried so hard to keep calm. The snow fox stared into Enya’s snarling face, past fangs nearly as tall as her head, into the wolf’s crazed eyes. Her cyan eyes, gazing, seemed brighter than her white fur, brighter than the dark. They seemed... deep... She spoke slowly and quietly despite Enya’s aggressive snarls. I have only followed by Her paw, Illuna insisted. She showed us this for a reason. Though her voice remained stern and careful, Illuna stepped back another step. Yet, her eyes remained locked with Enya’s... Rolling Charisma for Hypnosis to calm Enya.

The little white fluff gleefully led the wanderer down the trail. She darted along the path, stopping and glancing back to check on Sage before darting ahead again. Aralon, she confirmed after one of her glances. She darted forward some more when the wolf caught up soon after. From these mountains, east; from the river, north. It is cold to the vile and weak, but beautiful to those who know love. The grove’s canopy thickened as they approached the pond in the middle: the one Sage had seen from the sky, the one Illuna had been picking plants from. Indeed, cattails and reeds lied by the waterside in a neat little pile. She walked up to her bundle and sat facing the wolf, her wagging tail nearly brushing the picked plants into the water. Yes! Our house, she agreed enthusiastically. All who wander and are lost, all who are cold or hungry, are welcome there, where they may be warmed and fed. She looked down at where her herbs were, then quickly behind herself to where they were now, by the water’s edge. She picked them up in her tiny snout and gingerly placed them again where they were. She looked up at Sage, and her tail unknowingly brushed them right back toward the water. I like to help keep it stocked, she explained, and I bring wanderers there if they need help. Some of those wanderers decided to stay and help too. Such kindness, I cannot thank them enough... She dreamily looked upward at the spruces and pines, smiling so happily. What? What was that supposed to mean? "What do you mean she calmed me more than you foresaw. Who?!" Enya continued to snarl at the fox, growing more frustrated and agitated as the fox spoke calm and slow, with even her head twisting strangely. She should attack the fox. She should kill it for drugging her like she had. She could do it. She could tear her into pieces and mount her skull atop her hoard.
And yet, despite her desires, despite the confused anger that she lashed out with, she did not lunge or snap. That dream had felt way too real. She remembered him. Not completely. No more than the dream had showed her. And yet, there was this sense, this knowing, that she'd sometimes feel when things were said or done, and she felt that sense now, despite her frustration.
And then the fox did something that triggered her again. The fox had seen? Impossible. It couldn't be. How could this fox somehow bring memories of her past into not only her own dream, but into the fox's mind as well? Enya snarled, her growl growing more savage by the second, and she shook her head, trying to make sense of it all.
"One of your past"
It made too much sense for the fox's words she uttered to be mere coincidence, made too much sense that her ear had been whole before, and yet now it was torn. It wasn't because her ear had healed. It was because her ear had yet to be torn. It had never been something she'd questioned before: her scars, her jewelry, the wolf paws she wore around her neck at all times with it's tooth and crystal. She'd never bothered to inquire about any of it, because what did it matter? She'd never know anyways. Her history was gone, lost forever.
But now? Enya snapped her jaws shut as she snarled, still shaking her head, shaking her body, fur bristled as she tried to understand. If it was true, then she'd left him. She'd left him. There was no changing the past.
Enya ceased her shaking and whirled on the fox, her teeth barred. "You forget what it was you saw. I should kill you for drugging me and invading my past. You've ruined it. You've ruined it all. Now I have to wonder, and it's YOUR FAULT"

"Well, Loch of the Saltfang, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, even if it is under such unusual circumstances." Clover lifted a paw to groom himself, then partway through realized the futility of the impulse. He licked the back of it anyway and scrubbed it over his ears, for the comforting sensation, if nothing else.
"Do you live in Radmar, then, with the others? We visited not so long ago, though it seems I missed you then." He'd certainly have remembered such a striking figure. Though perhaps their dream-selves were different from reality.

Moonrise [p] [RPC-5] IC Date: 09/13/2026 Aralon — Midnight Mountains
Unlike most visions, nay, all visions she could recall dreaming, the target of her observation looked at her. Straight at her. As if to double check, Enya herself glanced back in the direction Eiko had been staring. There was nothing there, nothing that could draw the fox's interest so directly. No, the figure in her vision was undoubtably staring at her, and Enya wasn't sure what to do.
Last time she'd seen the fox, he'd deceived her, made her feel like a fool, and she had thought she'd only feel anger towards him. Time had gone on, since then. Encounters with others had been made, and instead of feeling anger or hatred towards the fox, Enya felt a desire. If this fox was so clever as to fool her, then she wanted to learn. She wanted to figure the fox out, to see how he used his cunning so she might learn from him what it was that he had to teach.
Eiko sat, his three tails wrapping around himself in a neat and tidy way, his head tilted as he stared. If this was a vision, then perhaps it was one of her own, one she could manipulate, if she chose the correct words and actions.
"We meet again" Enya said, her voice calm and collected, confident, as she stepped from behind the boulder and out into full view. Her head was held high, a smile across her face. Her tail was held with pride, flagging behind her as she walked, nay, strutted from her location towards the fox. However, there was no act of dominance in her body language, for her fur laid flat, and her high tail swayed gently behind her. The twinkle in her teal eyes said 'friendly' to the other canid. "It is a fine night to speak to the gods." Enya tilted her gaze from Eiko towards the full moon that hung bright in the sky, "Did he respond to you?" she asked, though she kept her gaze upwards and locked onto the glowing beacon, "The Nightlord?"
